I started training with Steve around 3 years ago. I had already over 10 years previous martial arts experience and so knew what I expected from an instructor. I'm happy to say that Steve exceeded every one of my expectations.

Steve is very approachable and professional combined with a very technical, detailed approach to teaching that sets him apart from the competition.

Through Steve I have been fortunate to earn my blue belt at first under Royce Gracie and now under Ze Marcello. I hope to earn my purple belt within a few years and one day my black belt. This is a huge challenge but with Steve's support, I know it is achievable.
